Did you know?
Nearly all employers care more about mindset than skill set. According to research in, Put Your Mindset to Work, an employee with the “right” mindset is seven times more valuable to an employer than an employee with the “right” skill set. While the right skill set is undoubtedly important, people with the right mindset win the job, keep the job, earn more and get promoted sooner even over more qualified candidates. Because skill set requirements keep changing with new technologies and innovation strategies, employers believe that it is better to hire for mindset and train for skills. In this activity you can introduce your students to some of the 72 qualities top employers use to define a winning mindset.
